The founder of the office, Adv. Ronit Ariely-Melamed, is a graduate of Tel-Aviv University (L.LB) and was admitted to the Israeli Bar Association in 1993. Following apprenticeship in the legal department of the Ministry of Defense and in one of the top offices in the field of Intellectual Property law, Adv. Ariely-Melamed worked for several years as an associate for a leading law firm in the insurance field. In 2003, Adv. Ariely-Melamed was admitted to the New York Bar.

Several years ago, inspired by elderly clients, Adv. Ariely-Melamed chose to focus on "Elder Law", representing the elderly with their legal problems. Besides expanding her legal expertise in this field, Adv. Ariely-Melamed also took a social work course on Family Intervention with the Elderly.

Together with Adv. Daniella Heller, Adv. Ariely-Melamed writes a monthly legal column for "New Direction", a monthly newsletter published by the Aleh Organization for the Elderly, in Rehovot.

Adv. Ariely-Melamed also provides preliminary legal advice to the elderly in a project initiated by the Rehovot Municipality, to provide free preliminary legal advice to the elderly.

Adv. Ariely-Melamed is qualified as a Notary (in Hebrew, English, French and Spanish) and is also accredited as a mediator and family mediator, with an emphasis on inter-generational mediation.
